I just can't make a decision which is rather unusual for me because usually there is no dilly dallying about, I wake up, something catches my eye as I stumble down the stairs and away I go forsaking anything else that needs to be done (what about your book of to do's the voice in my head is whispering). Well let's move on it's only been a few days of lists....
So back to the matter at hand, I can't decide what to do with my "most loveliest wallpaper I have ever owned" I have pondered various locations around the place but nothing seems to fit so I roll it back up and pop it to one side.
I keep coming back to the sides of the fireplace where my lovely tartan paper once lived but still I am not convinced...Should I leave it freshly painted lovely off white colour or should i whip out my past brush and get going...
So I pose this question to you my dear readers....where would you paste this lovely stuff if at all....xox
ps thank you all so much for your comments on my book of lists posts....I am so glad I am not the only one who starts out with such good intentions only to have given up the ghost a few days in....:)

Can you keep it propped there for a few days and look at it in different lights and at different times of the day? Might help you make your mind up!
ReplyDeletei give you two choices...
ReplyDeleteput it up in my house - i have just the perfect nook for it...
or
use it only as a full wall length as that is when it is at its most beautiful
but what do i know!
love to you my ever decorating pal

I think the clean white. I would put the wall paper aside and then what will probably happen is you a brainwave will occur and you will have the perfect place for it.
ReplyDeleteThe paper is gorgeous, but so is your clean white space!
ReplyDeleteSo here's what i think...
When we collect and sew and sew and collect, add in a spot of yarnery a bit of this and a bit that, then before you know it there is stuff and clutter and no clean white spaces.
So I would treasure your clean white space, the few I do have in my home, bring me calm and peace during not very calm and peacful moments....
Thats what I think...for what its worth?

Marvellous wallpaper! Boldly go...
ReplyDeleteHi - it would have to go where I was going to sit and admire it often, so on the focal wall of the sitting room sounds ideal to me. Enjoy! x
ReplyDeleteHaving pondered I think you should leave the wall off white and maybe use the wallpaper in the back of a cupboard or picture frame?
